My printer installer is compatible with Microsoft XP but my computer is Windows Vista?

Well, I got this printer when I still had this computer that was working on XP. Then I got another computer that has a Windows Vista operating system. The CD I have says that I can only install it on computers with XP only. When I try to install it, I can’t, and I can only print stuff but not scan (because it’s not installed).

How can I get it installed on my Vista computer?

   well this is the problem with vist amany software didnt work on vista.u have to arrange all that for yourself or format ur pc and install sp2.

   go to the printer website and download the vista drivers if they have them
