I have a Toshiba laptop with windows vista operating system. I cannot stand the touchpad. Neither “mouse” or “pen and input devices” seems to have any option to disable it. How do i toggle touchpad disability?
Thanks for the answers, but no dice. I have a Toshiba Satellite® X205. It has no button for disabling over the touchpad, nor does FN + F7 or F9 work.

press the fn button and f7

Press “Fn” + “F9″. There should be a menu popping out from any side of the screen displaying the function you have chosen.

Most laptops have a button to disable the touch pad right above them, what’s the model number of your laptop, I know on my hp when I use my bluetooth mouse I just press the blue light button above the pad, when disabled it turns orange.
