Why wont my xbox 360 wireless controller work?

When I use the battery pack with the batterys closed off inside it, the controller connect button flashes on and off but doesnt stay on. When i use a pack with new batteries in it the light doesnt flash at all. I have tried clicking the red button on the 360 but it still doesnt work. any suggestions before i just stick with reliable wired controllers?

well, I had that problem when I just bought a new controller for the 360, all you have to do is on the 360, there’s a button right under the plug for the wired controllers, press it, then click the X box symble in the middle of the controller, it should work

try holding down the button in the middle to turn it on because your probably just clicking the button to turn it on but you have to hold it down.

you may have to sync it by pressing the little black button on the xbox and the controller maybe that will work

For the wireless controller, there is a button to the right og the “LB” button with three little dash marks next to it. Press that button WHILE pressing the connect button on the controller. Hope this helps…
