search option not found in win 2003 server, can anybody help?

My system is a hp Proliant ML350 server, OS- win 2003, used as broadband gateway. now there is no AV installed in this server. previously McAfee 8.5i was installed, but it not works, i uninstalled it. and later i tried with AVG 8 free, but during installtion a message poped up as this version is not for server. im going with problem. hidden folder, search option disabled. if i type cmd command in run option, system restarts automatically. what should i do. can u help me.

   reinstall if at all possible

   Perform a repair install and install an anti virus software ASAP.
