Can someone help me with my Vista installation problem?

I have Vista home premium and I tried installing it only to find that it won’t work. I upgraded the BIOS and did everything like the cd said to do but after an hour of waiting all i see is a blue screen appearing only for an instant after the windows load screen. It then goes to the choose how to start windows screen and doesn’t work at all in any mode.
I am upgrading from windows xp media center. Will it mess up the upgrade if I have software that is incompatible?

Can someone help me with a DreamWeaver installation problem?

So I go to the Adobe website and download the free trail for dreamweaver and when I try to install it it doesn’t work. When-ever I try to open the “Adobe Extractor”, it freezes and says Adobe Extractor(Not Responding) In the blue bar above the window. (I got windows XP) and it keeps happening again and again. I’ve tryed downlaoding it again but it still won’t work.

Anyone know of a web site or a solution for this?
