I saw a picture of this dress in a magazine a few months too late…

I know that it’s from Jigsaw and cost £149 in last spring’s (2006) collection but apparently it sold out within weeks… I regularly look on eBay for this, but so far I haven’t found it there.

I love everything about this dress: the cut (with full skirt and what is almost a halterneck sleeveless top), raw-edge hem, the pale flesh-rose colour, the floaty gauzy material, the darker sash that ties around the waist and just ties the whole thing together. I’ve tried to find similar dresses but there is always something that isn’t quite right.

I live in the UK so perhaps it is still available in other countries? In the USA maybe?

Or should I consider taking this picture and another I have of the same dress to a dressmaker to have it reproduced? Is that likely to do serious damage to my bank balance??

We went to a new year party and I took him to a bedroom and dressed him as a baby 2007. He looked sooo cute in his white shorts (for a diaper) and his sash around his bare chest (he’s sooo macho). I dressed as as an old 2006 with a santa beard lol lol and a long white nightgown. We werent the only ones to dress like that but we got the award for best themed coustom. Oh ya when he dressed back in his street clothes just after the new year started I got a chance to be alone with him in the bedroom while he and I were changing back into our clothes to go home and and and ohhh gosh he’s sooo handsome!!!

Ok the bridesmaid dress are bronze with a creme sash.

I know I am doing blue hydrenas. Should I do with creme?? I was thinking do the creme for me so it would match the sash.

Or should I do with a yellowish champange?? Or my wedding is the first day of summer so yellow would be pretty. So confused??
