I am getting error report msg while opening yahoo messenger//have tried re-installing,using win xp home?

I want to use yahoo messenger on my laptop, but every time I try to open yahoo messenger it gives windows error report, microsoft ppl donot provide any solution and direct me to yahoo. they say u have a soln for this. msn messenger and rediff bol are working fine though. I am using win xp home edition. some time back it was working okay though. pls guide me…..thanks in anticipation

How do I get a Cardinal to stay off my cars and away from my windows?

We have had a cardinal “attacking” the mirror on one of our cars and pooping all over it. Then he is sitting on top of my brand new car making a mess on it. He has now started to run into our screen door and also making a mess there. I have tried a mirror from the tree and some sparkling thing to deter him but he has not stopped. What can I do to deter anymore pooping? I love having him fly around and sing but he is messing up our cars.

How can i create new jobs fot the “AT” command using batch files? PLEASE READ DETAILS?

I can manually set new jobs in a DOS window for the windows NT “AT” command, but i would like to create them in a .bat file to automate and make the process faster each time i need them on other computers.
Here is an example that does not work using a batch file:

at 23:13 /interactive “c:\example.bat”

Then i check the list of jobs and there is nothing about it.
But if i type the same line in a DOS window, the job gets added to the list without problems..

Any clues?

How do you get programs like microsoft word and what not onto a macbook ,and is it worth the 1009 bux?

I’m planning on getting the macbook (not pro). Notice how i say “planning”. But anyways, I just want to know, it has some pretty cool programs like safari which i found out is your internet, but how do you get programs like microsoft word and adope workshop (programs that do not begin with the letter i like iphoto basically). And is it worth the 1k???
