I have a macbook with os x leopard(the latest os). I want to install a windows OS using bootcamp. I have a XP pro disk from my cousin and an XP Media Center disk from my sister. Which is a better operatin system? I was actually an XP pro user for several years before I got the mac last june. I understand tthat he Media Center is based on XP pro but it has additional features like tv/video stuff. WHICH IS MORE APPROPRIATE FOR MY MACBOOOK?

Just bought a used Dell Poweredge with Windows Server 2003 on it. It boots up to the login just fine, but I don’t know the password to continue. That’s fine, I told the guy I bought it from that I would reinstall my own 2003 package. Anyway, when I go into the install process, I get to a point that Windows says it can’t find any physical drives and cannot continue. I have 3 drives set up in RAID 5, do I have to delete the array to reinstall Windows and then set up a new dynamic disk within Windows? That seems ridiculous.
My ultimate goal: install clean Windows 2003 and retain current RAID configuration - can it be done? Thanks everyone

I found that windows vista could not some of the softwares compared to xp. so how can i install windows xp without uninstalling windows vista?

I have a IBM with a pent3 1ghz proc., 256MB ram, 20gig hd. when i run an install of windows xp, I format with ntfs, and then when I get to the setup screen with the bullets and the explanations of the new features, it always locks up at 36%. orginally came with windows 2000 on it. during the install the pc is placed on a table (the fans are working becuase I feel the hot air comming out of the vents) and there is no unusual clicking indicating a bad hdd. What could be the problem?

All I did is format is that good enough? For some reason i get a Event log error before i even install. I trying to install windows professional on a Gateway 2000 maybe thats my problem.

I want to install SQL SERVER 2005 on windows xp machine and it only takes Client compoents by defult. So I want all the services of SQL SERVER Like Reporting etc to be installed on windows XP machine.. Need help guys
